Phase 1: Discovery & Design

The process begins with an initial consultation, which we call discovery. During the discovery call, we review the objectives for your training, topics of interest, and the learner’s background. This allows the design team to understand the context and goals of the training, setting the stage for a customized and interactive experience.

Who can participate in discovery?

No limit exists on who or how many people can participate in discovery. “The more, the merrier!” We encourage you to invite as many team members as possible to participate in development. The more details we have during the development phase will allow us to craft a more targeted training experience.

Phase 2: Design & Approval

Once we have completed the discovery phase, the webinar content is developed with a focus on the individual’s learning style and preferred format.

One perk of working with Oculus is that you always have the final vote on what is delivered to your team. A custom syllabus summarizing the content, activities, and preferences will be sent to managers to approve or suggest changes. Thisallows us to guarantee consistency with your organization’s standards and goals.

Once we receive the final approval of the syllabus, the content will be finalized and moved into production.

Phase 3: Delivery

After some initial introductions, your learner is sent a link to schedule their web training at a suitable time.An Oculus training expert leads your learner through the approved content on the selected day.

Phase 4: Reinforcement & Training Series

One-and-done isn’t always the best option to address resistance and the learning curve. We highly recommend reinforcement to maximize the effectiveness of our tailored one-on-one webinar sessions.

This added layer of support is critical in helping learners build confidence and will provide additional insight on how to apply the training concepts in daily life.

Coaching Assignments

In addition to reinforcement sessions, we recommend incorporating one-on-one coaching assignments. Assignments are designed to include self-reflection and practical application to link training to skills and real-life interactions to ensure accountability.

Reinforcement efforts help meet immediate goals but also foster long-term professional growth.
